Having trouble remembering all these terms? Don't worry! Here are some links to helpful sites to get ready for that test!

Anatomy Tables and Diagrams

Body Smart Website

This educational website provides 3D models of many different body systems (the best are the bone and muscle) and quizzes. Click on the muscle to see where it's located, how it moves, what's connected to it, and more.

Anatomy Tables

This website from University of Arkansas offers in depth information sorted by system or region of the body. Want a list of all the nerves of the body, including the source, branches, and motor/sensory differentiation? Look no further!

Systems: artery, bone, fascia, joint, lymphatic, muscle, nerve, topography, vein, and viscera

Laboratory Dissections

Ever wonder what these muscles actually  look like? Well, here's the website for you! This interactive, virtual anatomy dissection identifies and labels muscles and bones throughout the human body.

BioDigital Human

This program allows you to see and manipulate the entirety of a virtual human body. Starting out as a fully formed human, you can to strip away the skin, nerves, muscles, bones. You can isolate one muscle on a skeleton to see just how it attaches. You can look at the lymphatic and blood system to see how they mingle together. Click on an organ to get the full description. The possibilities are endless! Setting up an account is completely free!

Anatomy Quizzes

WebAnatomy

This website is most helpful for learning to label bones and muscles, though there are quizzes covering all the body systems. You can choose from many different quiz lengths. All are either multiple choice or fill in the blank.

Higher Ed Learning Exercises

This website is a companion of Hole's Human Anatomy and Physiology textbook (10th edition), but it is extremely helpful regardless of the class textbook you have. Simply choose the chapter you want to study on the left side of the site, then click on what type of learning exercise you'd like - quiz, true-false, labeling, etc.

Anatomy Websites and Playlists

Khan Academy

You've probably watched a few of their YouTube videos, but now they have a website! After you set up an account, subscribe to the Anatomy and Physiology class to watch watch great videos about each body system. You can even test yourself afterwards!

How to Find Anatomy and Physiology

1. Click on Subjects in the top left corner

2. Click on "Health and Medicine" listed under "Science and Engineering"

3. Click on "Human Anatomy"

Crash Course

This is one of the best YouTube series on A&P. These videos cover content in fun, entertaining ways in under 10 minutes! The only drawback is the rapid pace. I recommend using these videos as a review before tests.

Bozeman Science

If you need a much more relaxed, basic review of the material, Bozeman Science's videos are great! His videos don't go into as much depth as you need, but they are great starting points!

Armando Hasudungan

This YouTube playlist is a different style from the rest. Hasudungan teaches by drawing - like a more in-depth KhanAcademy - and has playlists of tutorials for almost all body systems. This YouTuber is great for visual learners!
